Happiness in the Heartache is all about finding ways to change your mindset to look for the good that can come out of a difficult situation. From books and journals to divorce & co-parenting coaching sessions, I am here to help you to divorce differently.
This book is a catalyst to aid parents in telling their child that their parents will no longer be staying together nor will they be living in one house with both of their parents. Although the actual word divorce is not used in this story, the message is apparent. One Princess, Two Castles is about a little princess named Princess T whose parents are no longer staying together and therefore are moving into separate castles. Princess T learns a key phrase that is repeated throughout this story,”things will be different, but things will be good.” Princess T learns that although it is ok for her heart to feel sad, she also learns that is perfectly ok for her heart to feel excited about spending time with each parent. She learns to look at the positives of spending time at each of her parent’s castles and although time spent with the king and queen are different ...the one commonality is their love for her.
Perfect for family, law firm, counseling and play therapy practices, school, and divorce support groups
One Camper, Two Cabins is a catalyst to help children understand that their parents will no longer be staying together, nor will they be living in one house all together again. This book is also an amazing resource that can help parents to facilitate a vitally important discussion. One Camper, Two Cabins gives so many children a character they can actually identify with.
This illustrated picture book is about a child named Caleb whose parents are no longer staying together and therefore are moving into separate cabins. Caleb learns a key phrase that is repeated throughout this story “Things will be different, but things will be good!” Caleb learns that although it is ok for his heart to feel sad, it is also perfectly okay for his heart to feel excited about spending time with each parent. He learns to look at the positives of spending time at each of his parents’ cabins, and although time spent with his dad and mom are different……the one commonality is their love for him. Although the actual word divorce is not used in this story, the message is apparent.

This journal is a wonderful resource for children who are walking the journey of going from living in one home with both parents into two separate homes with each parent. Children are given prompts that will help them to work through and express their feelings through drawings. These prompt and drawings can help to provide comfort, hope, and healing for these precious children. This journal will also be very insightful for parents, their legal counsel, and therapists.
